Condensate Pumps

Condensate pumps play a vital role in HVAC systems by safely removing the condensation that builds up during cooling cycles. These compact devices are especially important in installations where gravity drainage isn’t possible, such as in basements or areas with limited space. Homeowners and HVAC professionals often search for reliable condensate pumps as part of their essential air conditioning installation accessories, since they help prevent water damage, mold growth, and costly maintenance issues. By offering consistent performance and quiet operation, condensate pumps ensure an air conditioning system runs efficiently while maintaining indoor comfort.

What size is the air conditioner in kW?

For every kW of cooling an air conditioner can produce 1-1.5L of condensate per hour (LPH) Example (using 1LPH): 5kW unit = 5LPH
*Please note: Condensate output can vary greatly depending on environmental conditions like humidity. Please check local conditions and use 1.5+ LPH if required.

How far must the pump lift the water?

A = vertical distance from condensate tray to inlet of pump B = vertical distance from pump outlet A + B = Meters of head
